81st Annual Academy Awards

Hours later or less than 1 and a half hour later there would be the ceremony of 81st Annual Academy Awards. I am as anxious as everyone in the world. This is a last reminder for everyone in Turkey, it will start at 1:00. Don't forget to watch the red carpet and look carefully at the dresses of celebrities. Lets remember the nominations:

Slumdog Millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire is a 2008 British drama movie and has 10 nominations for 81st Annual Academy Awards. This movie has 62 awards and 27 nominations. Its story is about a 18 year old orphan called Jamal Malik from Mumbai. The polices arrests him when he was about to win a staggering 20 million rupees on India's  "Who wants to be A Millionaire?" for cheating. He tries to prove that he is innocent, and he tells the story of his life. Each part of his story reveals the key answer to the questions of the show. So, it sounds interesting but unfortunately it will be on theaters on 27 February 2009 in Turkey, approximately 5 more days. People who live in Turkey will be able to watch it later than most of the people. I am curious about it? I think it is a huge competitor of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button because both of them are different from  the other movies. I highly recommend everyone to see this movie at least to respect all those awards that it won.
